This AVR is panel mounting or floor mounting type which can be used on all brushless alternators above 1000 KVA and alternators with pilot D.C exciter. This is designed to take all thyristor loads up to 30%. This unit is capable of running in parallel with other alternator and grid, with little modification and adjustments and by adding H.T step down transformer. This unit can also be used on H.T alternator. The adjustment facilities given are Voltage adjustment, Drop adjustment, Single/Parallel Switch, On/Off Switch and Fuse Holder.

This unit has additional features like, Over excitation current cut-off and Over voltage cut-off.
